Doubtful that someone as public a figure as Coltrane was leading
a double life as a member of the Occult Underground. More likely
the effort was influenced behind the scenes by some other actor,
perhaps an avatar--not necessarily The Musician--announcing his
or her intention or perhaps a message from the Invisible Clergy
with hidden meaning and significance to be found within the music
and who participated for those savvy enough to catch the clues.
