[UA] The 1950s

 Well, a vague timeline of the appearance of adept schools appears at one
point, although I don't remember where.  Let's see what I can drag out...

 Entropomancy just caught fire on account of risk-takers coming home from
the War.  I can only expect most of them hit the road on motorcycles,
forming the first biker gangs (even though it'll be a few years before we
see bikers as we know them now).

 Epidermancy is, I believe, right out as far as the Western world is
concerned.

 Mechanomancy would still be running strong, and probably a bit easier to
use.

 As for avatars, I can see the Warrior going strong, albeit in a slightly
different form than today.

  Due to the lack of the influence of movies, I don't think we'd have the
Dark Stalker yet.

  And I'm too lazy to get my book to give you more, but If I come up with
them, I'll shoot them off.

 P.S. The noir detective era is more like the 20s through the early 40s.
