Also, check out any detailed history of drug usage
book (I read a good one called something like Junkies,
Narcs, and Pipe Dreams) at the library and you'll see
America has had 3 periods of drug epidemics...late
1800s to WWII...after WWII until the mid 1970s...and
then the 1980s on...
