That's easy. Run each participant's name through an Anagram Engine type 
thing, and see if any of them are anagrams of his old name(s).

Then again, it might be too high profile for him. Eugene Larue might be 
waiting in the wings with something small and pointy.

Still, it might be interesting to run everyone's name and see if any weird 
symbolism comes up.
