Sweetie Pie is a bit of a bastard since its origins
are prosaic.
You can always rely on apostrophes to create obscure
twists in rhyme and word meaning to force your own
version, like Sweepy Pie.
Pie can also be a contraction of piebald or some such.
I found out the pie is also a legit form of magpie and
the bird is related to the crow family (I think).
