[UA] Austin Texas and the Ordo Corpulentus

The motto of Austin is "Keep Austin Weird"
We are the Blue City in the Red State.
Any number of Dukes would fit right in on 6th street. I don't know whether
it is the heart of Austin, or it's genitals.
We are a nexus of independant movie making, independant music, and the home
of one of the oldest on-going gaming companies in the business.
Austin is about as liberal as they come.
Austin is the home of Silicon Hills, the southwest's version of Silicon
Valley, we have Dell Computer here, and representatives of every hi-tech
computer and electronics manufacturer going. Fully a quarter of Apple
Computers now operates out of Austin.
Instead of bumper stickers reading "My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter" we have
bumper stickers reading "My Governer is a Jewish Cowboy."
Nothing... nothing... is too weird in Austin, from Fetish clubs, to
Halloween on 6th street.
We are home to the second largest population of katrina refugees in the
united states behind houston.

As Greg said, you woudn't be out of place in taking everything you've ever
heard stereotypical about Texas and totally inverting the stereotype.
