There's a breed of domesticated duck that's all white. Wikipedia has

I always thought the likeness was pretty good. :)
And based on the white collar and the "WOO WOO WOO!" call, I suspect that
Daffy isn't really a duck at all, but is actually a loon:

Which does bring up the question of why WB is trying to pass a loon
off as a duck...
