CHANNAHON — The father of the man charged with killing County Treasurer Jack 
Weber cavorted in the street while clad in women's thong underpants after 
exposing himself to a horrified neighbor early Thursday, police said.

Bunny Saltzman, 56, was found masturbating in the middle of South Overland 
Drive when officers arrived on the scene, police said.

Bunny Saltzman is the father of Brent Saltzman, who is charged with killing 
Weber, his stepfather.

Prosecutors allege that Brent Saltzman, 26, clubbed Weber to the bathroom 
floor of the Shorewood house where the two lived with Saltzman's mother — 
Weber's wife, Bonnie Weber — in October 2000. He then pounced on the 
helpless Weber, prosecutors said, and repeatedly struck his face and skull.

The attack reportedly stemmed from Brent Saltzman growing enraged by the 
sight of his 63-year-old stepfather walking about the house wearing only a 
bathrobe.
