This makes me think of a nightmare I've had from time
to time -- that my moderate arachnophobia is based on
a Waking Life-like situation where I'm simply looking
back upon the memories of my life while dying or dead
- and I'm being consumed by spiders or in some Hell
involving eternal consumption by spiders, and I'm
installing this "irrational" fear of spiders based on
the current predicament.
