Well, I figure if you're going to get something as useful as your own
spy network, it might as well be a really, REALLY weird spy network.

Imagine a woman who completes the ritual and ends up blowing her fifth
stress guage in the process (face it, ocular self-mutilation and
arachnid parthenogenesis are pretty stressfull). She develops a
serious case of denial about the whole thing and now wanders around
her home with a big sunny smile and no pants, squeezing out Spyders
she refuses to admit exist.

I'm going to stop thinking now.
