That could be a good plot hook. A bunch of bank
thieves rush into the casino after totalling their car
mistaking a geological survey chopper for the police.
They hold the place hostage until they realise the
cops aren't coming. They never will.

Of course this is nasty but not as horribly lame as
the high-roller with the towel.
