[UA] Subliminal penis mutilation

Man cuts off own penis in Zizzi restaurant in London (
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/6586879.stm), zizzi apparently
also being French slang for penis. Aside from re-inforcing my prejudice
about the dangers of chain pizzerias and the content of pepperoni, what in
UA terms would have lead him to do this?

Most obviously perhaps an epideromancer seeking a charge to fuel a ritual of
some kind. Perhaps Mak Attax has split and occult cells work across the
service industry promoting various ideologies.
