Gah, left a few key words out of my suggestions on the No! spell >_<

It should read:

Maybe make it 2 minor for 1 round initially plus 1 round per minor spent on the casting of the spell after the initial 2 minor charages.  No more then 5 minor charges total (2 for the initial cost and 3 additional minor charges to extend it's duration) can be spent on this spell at one time.
