Zombi's are the realm of the Bokun, not the Vodoun. Poppets are the realm of 
Horror movies and hoodoo, and mostly adapted from Wicker Men, carrying the 
'little life' of the represented... European mysticism.

So the Baron wonders, are you going towards the Hollywood Hoodoo Voodoo, or 
the Vodou and the Loa? Though I have to admit, Geoffrey Holder left me with 
an impression that will never leave me, and made "Live and Let Die" my 
favorite Bond movie of all time. It doesn't hurt that Msr. Holder is one of 
the most talented renaissance men of our age though.

If you're still looking for info on vodun, gimme a shout.  I took a class on 
it in college and have a list of good (cheap) books that aren't full of the 
crap on that website :P (Mama Lola by Karen McCarthy is EXCELLENT).
