FREDERICTON (CP) - The trial of accused killer Gregory Despres was put
on hold Thursday after he delivered a 10-minute courtroom rant about
al-Qaida, Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and something he called "Super
Space Patrol."

This guy's been mentioned on the list before: he's the one who went
past US customs with a bloody chainsaw and homemade sword, after
chopping off some poor guy's head no less, and wasn't detained.
