"Some scientists say modern pagan groups have no right to represent
the bones. "They would like to see themselves in a position where they
can represent prehistorical remains in Britain, but this is just not
the case. They are actually not speaking for anybody," said Prof
Schutkowski."
Damn skippy. Now I could see them having an argument if they could
definitely prove that they were actually related in some way, shape or
form to the people who's bones they're trying to claim. That I could
understand and sympathise with to some extent. But if these guys are
just in it for the whole "tree-hugging inner peace namby pamby love
fest" thing (like many self-professed pagans I known), then not a
chance.
My litmus test for serious pagans? Ask 'em about their stance on
animal sacrifice. Works every time.

Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the
forces of evil...prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom,
no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat
leaden death, demon...

Archeologists unearthed an old english dictionary dating back to the
year 1236. It defined "victim" as "one who has encountered Chuck
Norris".
