[UA] ua: not yet rated

I watched a documentary about the MPAA called This
Film Is Not Yet Rated. It was pretty interesting. But
the thing that sparked my UA vibe was the fact that
the rating board is totally annoymous. The names of
the raters are never ever released. On top of that,
the same guy founded and ran the MPAA for something
like 35 or 40 years. When he finally retired, he
personally picked his replacement.

So, let's UA this. What's going on here; either
intentionally or unintentionally? You don't have to
have your film rated, but not getting it basically
dooms your film to maybe a limited DVD release. What
effect does this have on the culture consciousness
that shapes the Invisible Clergy?
