That said, it's not like we have a lock on strange slants in media.
When a lived in Japan, 'Rape-Man' was a popular manga with salarymen
on the subway.  Don't even get started on tentacle porn...

We are strange in our acceptance of violence while abhoring sexuality
( or at least nudity ), but at least we don't get them mixed up ;) .
