I'm sure I've heard a Bill Hicks skit that runs much
the same way, when a waitress asks him "What are you
reading for?" instead of "What are you reading?"
For us Brits, Bill Hicks offers an insiders view of
America, admitedly one that's not always popular (and
often controversial). I'd say certain comic books have
a similar American flavour, though in particular I've
just been reminded of Preacher - because Bill Hicks
appears in it - which is full of ideas for Unknown
