[UA] American attitudes and things

Err, well, i think this is an absolute different topic. First of all, the
Soviet Union does not exist anymore. (Know you knew it, just for the pun :p
).

But this is different BECAUSE Ukraine has been for ages an autonomous
political entity as well as an ethnic/cultural reality. Ukrainians felt the
difference and would have happily accepted (as they further did) their
independence from the main country. But we are talking about historical
reasons there, and ethnical (it's much the same thing as with the European
Union now). Not about a bunch of people of
_ancient_ english/irish/french/hollander/german heritage, whose
grandgrandparents fought for their INDEPENDENCE from the European powers,
and nowadays identify themselves w/ those countries... it's crazy!
