They're a bunch of blithering, clueless do-gooders.
Having spoken and being friendly with a number of
people in the South African police force, I have heard
fantastic stories of what they get up to - like
confiscating a jar of Flying Ointment (y'know, made
from baptised babies) and eventually got forensics to
analyse it. It was Vaseline.
It was started by a cop and charismatic Christian
called Jonkers. He even wrote a book detailing Satanic
activities and warning signs. It's a pile of vomit in
a cover. Most of the information is looted wholesale
from a myriad of existing religions (like that evil
Hinduism and the dreaded New Age movement).
The last spectacle was the ORC squad acknowledging
Wiccans as a legitimate religion after years of
hassling them.
In UA, they'd be a cabal of the Tiger. They hunt down
occultists but they're specifically keyed to Satanic
imagery. Presumeably they could be made into a secret
Death Squad. They use the police activities to uncover
information and kill adepts and others on the sly.
Cheers,
Chris.
