[UA] Condemned: criminal origins

The monsters in that game kinda work like Carnals: the physical
manifestations of extreme pain, death and violence. For example, the
blade armed Slayers represent the kind of random bloody street
violence one can find in major cities, while Mainliners are really bad
drug ODs (the sequel, Ties That Bind, goes along those lines). Cut
down on their numbers and many of them would make good unnatural
critters. Just make sure to include Doc Killjoy somehow.

Regarding Condemned, thanatomancer sounds good, although the whole
"mastering your hate" thing screams irascimancer (driving people
insane with rage, etc...). Plus it seemed able to jump from person to
person, if the ending is any indication. Demon adept maybe?

Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the
forces of evil...prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom,
no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat
leaden death, demon...
 - Terry Pratchett

Archeologists unearthed an old english dictionary dating back to the
year 1236. It defined "victim" as "one who has encountered Chuck
Norris".
