I've used a few similar things for flavour in my games...

Cliomancers "hear" and "see" the history for which a site is famous when
they charge up - not much detail, just a rush of impressions. It's also a
lovely chance to take a quick shot at a charging Cliomancer, just at the
point when when he's not sure if the guy pointing a gun at him is in the
present or in 1959...

When a Merchant makes a deal to transfer stats and shakes your hand to close
it, then handshake always feels icy cold.

Urbanomancers reflect the mood of the neighbourhood they charge from - pick
up a sig from halting traffic on Park Avenue, and you feel full and slightly
sick, like you've eaten too much rich food. Cause the same traffic jam in
Harlem, and it's like a hit of badly-cut heroin.

A crowd always parts for a True King.

You can always tell when a Pornomancer's used magick on you, from the hot
flush and the other, more obvious reasons.

Books rustle when a Bibliomancer is nearby.

When a Pilgrim is using his 2nd channel to travel vast distances, people who
seem him pass by have difficulty charging how close or far away he is,
because the air shimmers and swims in a heat haze.

Being possessed by a demon feels deathly cold. Your limbs get numb and it's
harder and harder to move, like your body is being encased in ice. Then,
when it starts to move again, it's not you doing the moving.
