[UA] Tevelvisual UA-ness

Another UA source, this time from TV, and I'm surprised no one from the
States has mentioned this but John from Cincinnati. I've only seen the first
episode but it seems gloriously UA with its collection of ageing misfits
(including Al Bundy!), surfers, sudden powers of levitation and
idiot-savants who can pull whatever is needed from the pockets of their
trousers. And read the future/minds. It seemed a good example of a person
who has unconciously become a high level avatar and the wierdness that might
attract around them.

Also on the subject of UA-ness in movies I was watching War Games a few
weeks ago I noted that Broderick's character's house is number 333. You see
this as Jennifer runs up to the door which is opened by Broderick's father
dressed like a devotee of the Church of Sub-Genius who welcomes her in. This
got me thinking - what if Joshua wasn't an AI but was in fact the demon soul
of Falken's dead son and the whole thing an elaborate trick. In a UA world
Falken would possibly be trying to have Joshua leap from the phone system to
possess Broderick so he can have a son again.
