[UA] God Gauge Initial Analysis

This is a table of initial results.

Firstly, any god that wasn't suggested by at least two
seperate people didn't make this table (although
they've been noted for future reference/research). I
haven't included my own list of 'gods' on this table,
since I've got a definite direction I'm going with my
story which distorts slightly the results. Any gods on
this list were therefore matched by at least two OTHER
people.

Secondly I've scored gods on people's top tens
according to a system where a person's top score is
awarded 12 points, the next top score gets 10, and
then the last of the top ten get 8 points, 7 points
and so on down to 1 point. Any extra gods, or any gods
thrown in response to previous posts or to add odd
gods to the mix also get 1 point. It's not an exact
science, and does mean that one person's 'peak' god
and another persons vague reference can equate to an
average score, but WTF. It'll do.

Thirdly, I've mixed together all versions of 'God'
because in the modern world they are recognised as the
same supreme being, albeit with different titles.
Norse gods that have been Angliosised (in this case
Woden out of Odin) are considered the same. Greek and
roman gods have been kept distinct, despite obvious
connections because A. one list had both Zeus and
Jupiter, B. the two don't always mesh together exactly
and C. it suits my needs better to have two slightly
different faces. If necessary you can add the two
together.

Likewise I've kept Jesus and God distinct figures,
which could be added together.

Lastly, those marked with an asterix are 'gods'
straight out of popular fiction, in case you don't
recognise them.

• 1st Place (151 points) = God
• 2nd Place (93 points) = Thor
• 3rd Place (81 points) = Zeus
• 4th Place (61 points) = Odin
• 5th Place (33 points) = Ganesha
• 6th Place (25 points) = Loki 
• 7th Place (24 points) = Jesus
• 8th Place (23 points) = Hermes
• 9th Place (19 points) the following three 'gods' =
Satan/Lucifer, Shiva & Ra
• 10th Place (18 points) the following two 'gods' =
Apollo & Ares

That's the Top Ten (or Thirteen). Just bubbling under
are:

• 16 points = Buddha
• 15 points each = Aphrodite & Hercules
• 14 points each = Horus, Mars, Mother Earth/Nature,
Athena 
• 13 points each = Kali & Posiedon
• 12 points = Jupiter
• 9 points each = Thoth & Isis
• 8 points = The Sandman*
• 7 points = Cthulhu*
• 6 points = Dionysus
• 5 points = Bast*
• 4 points each = Yog Sothoth,* Bacchus, Mercury
• 3 points each = Nyarlathotep,* Artemis,
Quetzalcoatl, Venus
• 2 points each (in by the skin of their teeth) =
Osiris, Eris, Santa Muerte/Saint Death, Hastur/The
King in Yellow*
