[UA] Swedish godwalker?

Swedes of the list might have heard of him already. He's living by himself 
on a farm with three horses and some cattle, refusing most kinds of aid, 
lives an extremely simple life. And now he's a celebrity. He got himself a 
TV movie, now he has himself a book. He is obviously an avatar of 
something or the other, but what? Just "The Horseman" (the translation of 
the title of both the movie and the book)? Help me work this one out!
