[UA] A Meta Dream

I had a dream explicitly about UA last night.

In it, I had all of the UA books released.  I also knew of a woman who lived nearby who I considered dangerous, and who didn't have the whole set.

We met up in the street where I - for some reason - happened to have some of the books on me.

She commented that some of them - Hush Hush in particular - were ones she didn't have.

I laughed and said, "Luckily for me, you can take them!"

She laughs.  "Lucky for you?"

"Yes!  Because I don't want to be stabbed today!"

And then we laugh like old chums.

But it turns out that she can't just take the books.  That wouldn't be right.  It needs to be a trade.  And it turns out that she's carrying some books she has doubles of.  RPG books which were never published as part of the UA line that we know about.

Copies of the secret books which lie behind Unknown Armies, and can be located by those with The Knowledge.  Books written with information even closer to The Truth.  The books we have lead us to the Secret Books, and those... Oh those...

But she needs all the original books to decode her copies of the secret tomes, you see...

At this point I realise that accepting such a book is going to invite years of Occult Underground stabbing-attempt-schenanigans, but there's this very intense woman who *really needs* some books I have, but who won't take them unless I accept one of hers for each - and so not taking such a book is tantamount to refusing her in the first place...

So I take the damned books.
