What do you mean, "unfinished"?

Seriously, though, I love these explanations, especially the Tower of Babel-ish idea that it's pierced the Statosphere. It doesn't make any sense, but it's perfect. It also makes me wonder, why is it that cities keep competing for the Tallest Building distinction? It's not terribly practical. Could it be the work of a cabal or conspiracy trying to reproduce the Tower of Babel, this time successfully reaching Heaven? If they succeed, what will happen?

Personally, I think that all humans would revert to a single language. Also, Ascension would be a little different ...
