I like that... or a bibliomancer variant that instead of books must
create a library of DVDs. This might be a "book burn" of watching the
detectives ( I think... away from my books right now ).
As a side effect, any DVD carried with a spell attached to it is
consumed ( i.e. damaged ) when the spell is cast. This might make,
say, ripping DVDs to an ipod useless since the ipod would be destroyed
the first time a spell is cast, but a kindly GM might rule that the
file containing the ripped DVD is now corrupt.
I'd go with the ipod catching fire, but that's me.
