Although "Harry's Code" could be a paradigm skill, it would NOT help him be
normal. It only helps Dexter deal with stress checks involved with the
moral implications of killing someone as a hobby, or any stress check for
that matter. It would not help him with social interactions. Page 42 of
the core UA book explains that.
I honestly think that Dexter is a thanatomancer but doesn't realize it. He
also could be channeling the Executioner considering the "trial" process of
each of his victims. Harry, the person who assigns him victims through his
dogma, may not be specific about which person, but specific to the kind of
person he attacks.

And sociopaths still have passions. And as I watch the show, I'm not
convinced he's a sociopath. At least not in real world terms. And his
obsession is not to "be normal". Throughout the first season you see
through flashbacks Dexter struggling with being normal, hating it even. And
he still resents it in his adult life. The thing he's obsessed with is
killing people, specifically killing them according to Harry's Code. His
noble stimulus could be "catching a bad guy", his fear stimulus could be
"being discovered as a serial killer" and his rage stimulus I don't
specifically have an idea on. He doesn't seem to get angry, maybe
frustrated but not angry. I would love to hear people's opinions on it,
although I have to be honest and say I have to finish the first season on
dvd. :/ Stupid college getting in the way of well written programs!
