Yep Dexter is a fantastic series.
Fear - large amounts of blood fits with certain events.
Rage does fit with desire to leave children out of it, particly in series 2.

I also think it's fairly safe to say that while he claims not to feel
anything, this is not
Entirely true. I think he has his own mind pretty much wrapped up in knots,
so maybe some hardened
Notches linked to a harrys code paradigm?

Whatever you decide to do with him... (i veer towards thanato due to ritual
of blood slide fetishes)
You HAVE to include *deep voice and pouty lips* James Doakes!
Ass-hole-mutha-sick-freak-psycho!

I've heard the Showtime series is better than the
book. Is this so?

I'm writing because I've watched the show, twice. Once
alone and again with an ex.

Nope. If you have more than 30, 35 hardened notches
you lose Passions.

Alternatively, since he's a psychopath (or whatever
the DSM says what instability is fashionable this
season) this may change.

Although I tried to plug Dexter into UA as I saw him
act in Season One not as how the UA stats are strictly
laid out.

I'd go one further: Dexter has a code of honour
instead of a moral conscience. It's why he finds
social interaction so bewildering and alien.

Obsession: Harry's Code. This allows him to flip-flop
low Soul social skills.

The only time I saw him get angry was with Cnhy in the
latter end of the series.

> Fear: Isolation

Dexter loves beig alone. His fantasy is being alone
after the world blows up. Then he'd not have to put on
his social 'face' any longer.

I'd say Fear would be Touching/Confronted with large
amounts of Blood.

I'd move some off Soul to Body. Dexter is fit and
built.

Recognise emotion is great! Fake Tenderness would fit
in there as well.

Might need some more hard and failed notches here.

Ditto as above. Maybe 4/3

Cheers,

Chris.
