Okay, let's start. The thanatomancer should be based
around murder not just death. The thanatomancer should
be implicit in the act not some sort of eager
observer.

Perhaps murisomancy.

I was thinking someone like the monomaniacal hit man
character from Last Call could be used as a model.

I think fetishes could be expanded to include items
collected form the scenes of the murders. We could
eclipse and include the Dark Stalker archetype.

Some serial killers are also about self-empowerment
and improving their station in life by de-powering the
victim. Some feel a tremendous but skewed connection
with the target.

I still can't shake that vampire image since I keep
thinking of the Hillside Strangler which would
strangle the victim continuously until it went too far
and the victim didn't recover.

Ted Pro did alphamancy which if switched to include
humans as the ultimate apex predators suddenly becomes
a lot more sinister in a Ordo Corpulentes feel.

I did scyromancy which is about the worship and
veneration of knives and features a sacrifice-based
charging scheme.
