He's a videomancer, for sure, but what *else* does he have going on?

I saw this on SomethingAwful a while ago (I date a goon). This guy is scary nuts.

His "quirks" look to me like ritual conditions; I can't imagine what kind of taboos would require all of these things. His food requirements make me think that he's worried about poison. He has enemies - maybe some of his former staff hold a grudge.

He's a plastic surgeon: "I'm no rogue, but I do have Eastern-influenced techniques that some find odd and/or disconcerting - but I do have a 99% success rate!" That sings Fleshwork to me. He can't keep staff, either - because they keep failing their stress checks! That he gets "batty" when he misses shows, though ... that is a smoking gun for videomancy. Maybe he uses random magic to make your face "just like the movies".

Another possibility. I don't know who's read "Green Glass Grail", but I think it was that adventure that featured a ritual which would allow one to ingest others' magical abilities (at the cost of total insanity & barbarism). He could be a videomancer, an epideiromancer, AND maybe even an infomancer - that would explain the taboos against music, magazines and media items like that. It would also explain why he's completely around the corner. But that's a 1 in 1000 chance. Here's what I really think.

Maybe the dog is the witch. Excuse me, the videomancer. "Basil Ironweed" could be a demon possessing the dog, or an Unspeakable who's learned magic, or anything; but this poster is awfully specific about what's necessary for the dog, and he treats him "like a person". I bet you that Basil is the one who really needs to see those shows, and the poster is a fleshworker. The two of them got their money illicitly, which is why someone's trying to poison them. Why do they need a roommate they can get along with? Well, a sacrifice is no good unless it comes from the heart....

My favorite part, by the way: "IT MUST SIZZLE."
